Fifteen minutes later, Rudy was wearing it. Lenny stared at him. He looked great. Rudy's shoulders were straight. He looked dark, which Lenny could clearly see, and it was awesome. Rudy straightened his Nazi helmet. He put his feet together, snapping to attention. His rifle was on his shoulder. Rudy's heels clicked together as he faced the East wall, facing the picture of Hitler. He visualized when he was in the German Military Academy, where he had learned to be a soldier. Lenny grew scared. Rudy turned again, facing the North wall with the Nazi flag. He started to goose step across the floor, right-faced to avoid the wall, right-faced again to avoid the other wall. His face tilted upward, proud to be a Nazi. He was in wonderland somewhere; he had an aura of arrogance. Lenny now wanted him to stop, but he wouldn't. He was like a robot, doing the same thing over and over again. Rudy ended it with a sharp Nazi salute. "Hail to Hitler," Rudy whispered, so no one except Lenny and Lane could hear.
Lenny slowly walked up to Rudy and touched his uniform in awe. He then stroked it. "Hail to Hitler."
"Yes, my boy."
Lenny looked up at him. "What do you want from me?"
"My boy, I want you to graduate from high school, go to Yale, study political science, graduate, and then enter the political arena. I want you to move to Columbia, South Carolina and eventually run for mayor there. Don't worry, I'll teach you everything you need to know about Columbia. I want you to run for governor and follow in my footsteps. Eventually, I want you to run for President, and win."
"Which Party do you want me to run in?"
"Republican, just like me."
