Kerri is a single mother struggling to make ends meet. Living from paycheck to paycheck in her tiny trailer with two children, life is difficult. Her family faces more challenges when, her brother Ken, is called into service in Afghanistan. Her mother Sharon returns to the states from Seoul to be with her children. Although Ken’s plans change, Sharon’s presence is instrumental in Kerri’s decision to go to college. Her degree choice of Criminal Justice is a surprise.
Mom, Sharon finally returns to Seoul where she faces an extremely challenging situation. Her husband, Tommy has been in a car accident. Many months of treatments and therapy are required. How will the family cope with another challenge? Will Kerri succeed in her chosen career? Can she finally find happiness in love and how will her children feel about a new man in her life?
Kerri and her relatives are a faith- based family and their deep conviction to God helps them to cope with many of life’s challenges. Although religion plays a large role in the lives of Kerri and her family, the author has produced an inspirational, entertaining story that boasts an enlightening and spiritual moral.

Author and freelance writer, Janet Nicolet lives in Florida. She intends to continue Kerri’s Journey in a series of books about this courageous character. Her first book, The Vintage Years, A Fulfilling Life after Divorce, was published in 2007.
The story is well presented in an easy to read, empathetic style. Readers will identify with the characters and their struggles and well as the strength of conviction they find in their chosen faith.
